How to Take Voice Mail

Refer to the Webmin Plus tab "Calls".  Calls are listed in order of date/time received.  Clicking on the Voice Message File will play the call.  Clicking on the Call Subject/Telephone will pull up any NFN accounts that have the caller IDs phone number associated with an account.

The Voice Mail only allows voice messages to be left during office business hours.

After you hear a message.
·         Write down the info about the call.
·         You may replay the message as many times as you wish.
·         Make sure of the message and the callers phone number.
·         Answer and resolve that message.
·         Click on the  X   to Delete the Voice File.


General Tips.

·         Once you take a message you “own it.” You should pass it to others only if you don’t have an answer.

·          If someone is asking for a specific volunteer call or email that volunteer the voice mail message.  You may click on the mail icon and send the voice mail file to any selected mail address.

·         If you call a person and they are not home leave a message that the Free-Net called. You may tell them to call back in when they are going to be home or you may call them back later. Your choice.

·         If they have no answering machine I try to call them back 2 more times then make a note in my log that I called them 3 times with no answer.

·         Callers with Mac problems may be given Duke Vasey's Phone Number 598-4326.
