Naples Free-Net is a 501c 3 charitable organization which has been operated completely by volunteers for the past 8 years.  We have gone from the original 16 phone lines to over 200 at present.  Our basic account is still free, but we do ask for donations, no matter how small, to help pay for our phone bill of over $8,000 a month and our annual budget of approximately $150,000.  We receive no government support and our major source of revenue is from our members, especially those who sign up for our Premium Custom I.D. account.  Anyone who contributes $60 a year or more is eligible for the Premium account.

All of our accounts, Standard or Premium, have a 2 hour limit per use and a 4 hour limit per day.  This allows our services to be more evenly distributed throughout our membership.

You must present yourself at our Helpdesk at the Village Falls complex on U>S> 41 East, to make application for membership in NFN.  You must present a picture I.D. for security purposes, complete and sign the application form, make a donation if you so desire, and pick up your installation disk and instructions on how to configure your computer to work with our server.
