Email Storage Limit Policy
Because disk storage is limited on NFN, all users are encouraged to
download their email as soon as possible after receipt. The Free-Net
will provide up to 20 MB of temporary storage for each user's email
account. (For example, this would equal 30,000 normal text messages.)
Users may be notified when their storage use exceeds 15 MB. Once 30 MB
of storage has been reached and the contained emails are older than 30 days,
some of the emails may be archived automatically. Archived emails may be deleted
from the NFN mail server after a year. Abandoned email accounts may be
subject to email box deletion.
All users will be informed immediately of this new policy. It will go
into effect 30 days after that announcement.
