Change DNS Settings for your NFN Dial In Connection on Windows XP

Overview

1. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Click Network Connections from the Control Panel choices.
3. Right click on your connection from the NFN Dial In Connections window and click Properties.

Note: If you have multiple NFN Dial In Connections, you should repeats steps 3 through 5 for each connection.
4. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
5. Click the radio button Use the following DNS server addresses and type in 74.5.240.2 in the Preferred DNS server and 138.210.81.3 in the Alternate DNS server fields.

 

 

1. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.

 

2. Click Network Connections from the Control Panel choices.

 

3. Right click on your connection from the Network Connections window and click Properties.

 

4. Click on the Networking Tab and Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.

 

5. Click the radio button Use the following DNS server addresses and type in  addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.

Preferred DNS server address for NFN is:
74.5.240.2

Alternate DNS server address for NFN is:
138.210.81.3
