Change DNS Settings for your NFN Dial In Connection on Windows Vista

 

Overview

  1. Click the Start Orb, then select Control Panel.
  2. Click on View network status and tasks.
  3. Click on View Status.
  4. Click the Properties button.
  5. Vista may ask for your permission to make changes. If so, click the Continue button.
  6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click the Properties button.
  7. Click the radio button. Use the following DNS server addresses: and type in 74.5.240.2 in the Preferred DNS server and 138.210.81.3 in the Alternate DNS server fields.

4. Click the Properties button.

6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click the Properties button.

 

7. Click the radio button. Use the following DNS server addresses and type in  addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.

Preferred DNS server address for NFN is:
74.5.240.2

Alternate DNS server address for NFN is:
138.210.81.3

Edit the current NFN Dial In connection by clicking the Start button, and then from that menu choose Connect to:

 

 

Right click on the Dial-up Connection, and click Properties

 

On the Dial-up Connection Properties, highlight the Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button

 

 

On the General tab, click the radial button for Use the following DNS server addresses and enter as shown:
