The NFN Swap Shop page
is where you, as a web surfer, can place a short ad for all to see for an item or service
you want to sell, buy, trade or give away. This is a community wide FREE service hosted by
your NAPLES FREE-NET.
To fully appreciate
this NFN section it is recommended to use later version browsers such as Netscape 7 or Microsoft Explorer 4,5 or 6. They are readily available and easy to install. Download
them by going here and click on the
HTML browser page link. The latest browsers are a vast improvement over previous versions,
especially on faster computer systems.

How to Use the
NFN Swap Shop: |

 PLEASE ! PLEASE ! PLEASE read and follow !
- Items entered in the Swap Shop are
limited to personal items. NO business or part time business type operations ads allowed....period!!
- Items must be for free, buy, sale or
swap.
- Again...NO business or part time business type operations ads allowed....period!!
- Items of or related to a commercial
business are prohibited.
- Listing of items or goods as an
agent for a third party is prohibited.
- Once more...for those that just don't (or won't) get it...NO business or part time business type operations ads allowed....period!!
- DO NOT ABUSE THE NFN SWAPSHOP -- ALL
ACCESSES ARE LOGGED! Continued abuse will result in IP block banning of your IP!!

NFN reserves the right to not
allow posting of any content that violates accepted community standards as interpreted
by NFN and its officers. The success of this service is up to the conduct of its
users. |

Since NFN has no financial
interest in the items or services mentioned, NFN is not liable in any way for such item's
merchandisable condition. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the accuracy and
currency of ads but by the mere fact an ad is displayed, NFN does not assume any
responsibility for others' actions resulting from displaying the ad. In short, buyer,
seller, trader beware. |

You may post as many ads as you
wish but each ad must be individually submitted using the submit
ad form accessed from the menu at the page header. No other method of ad submission
will be accepted. Multiple items for sale, buy, trade should not be listed in one ad
submission. Instead submit separate ads in their respective category. Since a
password is used for each ad submission, be sure to write down the password you used
so that you may delete the ad at a later time. |

The All Ads , All Sell Ads , Want
to Buy Ads , Free Ads , and Trade Ads sections are updated automatically when ads are
placed. Older ads will be flushed from the database , depending on ad volume ( and,
of course, visitor demand). SwapShop allows an ad related jpg format picture of no
more than 50K to be uploaded and automatically indexed with your ad. If there is a
picture to be associated with an ad , a representative thumbnail picture, will automatically appear in the
ad listing. Clicking on that thumbnail picture will bring up the full size ad picture with its
corresponding ad text. |

For an ad removal, simply click on the ID
number at the end
of the specific ad. That will take you to a page where you may Edit or Delete the ad.
Click on Delete and it will promptly be
erased from the database if the correct User Name and
Password are used. These are the User Name and Password that you picked when the ad was submitted.
The User Name and Password you
used with the SwapShop site have NO relationship with the NFN User Name and Password required for modem log in.

If the ad has an email address for
contacting, clicking on it will bring up the SwapShop Emailer where your response can be
simply typed in and sent to the ad contact. No email program is needed on your
personal computer system, as this process uses the server's email capability directly. |

Power searching is accomplished by
using the Search-All-Ads menu item. The total ad is searched, including email
addresses and phone numbers. Found text is highlighted blue in each ad. |
