Family History Centers Closed We received an announcement from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that the Family History Center in Golden Gate closed permanently on December 23, 2009, and the FHC in Fort Myers closed permanently on December 31, 2009. A great source for recent obituaries including the Naples Daily News (12/08/1995-current). You can CLICK HEREto visit the Library's Newsbank sign-in page. Enter your library card number when prompted for barcode. Library Genealogy Room Volunteer Schedule Help is here! Fort Myers-Lee County Library Genealogy Collection Bryan Mulcahy, Reference Librarian of the Fort Myers-Lee County Library has sent us a copy of the library's Genealogy Department Shelf List.
